Cabernet Sauvignon Wines

Beaulieu Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 1974

Strong nose of cedar, some fruit and smoke. Excellent sweet, ripe fruit on the attack, with a lingering savoury finish. Held up well and certainly put on some weight in the bottle. ($200.00)

Chad Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Decant in order to allow the wine to open up.  Has all the complexity and silken mouth feel of more expensive bottle, with hints of cinnamon and even a little caramel after a few sips. Just a powerhouse. ($18.00)

Deerfield Cabernet Sauvignon 2003

Peter Haywood's Los Chamizal Vineyards climb steep walls of a small isolated valley near the town of Sonoma. Recognized as one of Sonoma's best growers, Peter lavishes as much care on his vines as we do on our wine. The partnership of winemaker and grower is no better exemplified than in this blend, made from selected rows exhibiting the best micro-terroir of the vineyard. ($75.00)

Denner Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

This Cab swaggers through swinging doors bringing with it aromas of tobacco, black cherry, leather chaps and dried alfalfa. Rugged and powerful, it showcases its muscle but hints at an underlying sweetness of chocolate truffle and vanilla.  It finishes with a firm handshake and a promise that it will settle down in time. ($60.00)

Grace Family Cabernet Sauvignon 1996

Saturated deep ruby-red. Expressive aromas of black cherry, brown spices and cocoa powder. Sweet and rich in the mouth; a step up in density and length from the above wines. Finishes long, with a burst of kirsch flavor. Tannins are in harmony with the wine. ($90.00)

Heitz Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon 1975

Aging very gracefully, with appealing dried currant, mint, bay leaf and spicy, cedary cigar box and earth notes. Impressive depth and layers of complexity, too, finishing with a long, persistent aftertaste. ($325.00)

Highlands Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

A wine with a luscious fruity nose, full bright mouth of red fruits with hints of blueberries balanced with quality oak characters.  A lingering pleasant finish melds with and carries rich food parings. ($55.00)

Jamieson Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Double Lariat Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon represents a new milestone in red winemaking. Unlike the typical Cabernet Sauvignon, this bold, yet elegant, wine is both Barrel Fermented and Barrel Aged. ($60.00)

Josh Cabernet Sauvignon

Our winemaker takes this extra step of barrel fermentation to weave together notes of toasted oak, anise, chocolate and raspberry into a seamless and silky blend that finishes with waves of richness. ($12.00)

Justin Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Beautifully balanced, with attractive aromas of black fruit and spice, this smooth, ready to drink Cabernet is made with the same care as the highest quality, traditionally-made Bordeaux wines. Our grapes are hand-picked and then sorted by the berry for consistent quality and flavor. Justin Cabernet Sauvignon spends more than a year in traditional small oak barrels to impart a depth and complexity to the wine that expresses the influence of the ancient limestone soils and unique climate of Paso Robles. ($25.00)

MollyDooker Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Rich, round and complex, this wine is simply awesome. The Maitre D' has an enticing perfumed nose of blackberry, plum, cigar box and a touch of cinnamon. Overwhelming flavors of blackcurrant and dark cherry carry forward, accompanied by mouth filling layers of mocha, spice and vanilla. ($29.00)

Primus Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

An elegant wine with plum and cassis aromas that lead to rich and ripe red berry flavors. The grapes are hand-picked, double sorted, fermented and left on the skins after fermentation to extract deep color and rich flavors. ($19.00)

Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon 1974

Rusty, iron-like aroma with hints of ashy smoke. The tannins are fully resolved into a smooth, Bordeaux-like texture and the restrained fruit complemented by a savory, gamey tinge, this is a complete, balanced bottle. ($353.00)
